TheatreAdmin provides general management, production management and admin support on a freelance basis for small and mid-scale theatre projects.
This can include any combination of:
Budgeting: Preparation of funding and working budgets. Budget allocation, monitoring and control.
Funding Applications: Preparation of funding applications to ACE. Familiar with Grantium. Track record of successful applications. Trust & Foundations research. Preparation of applications to Trusts & Foundations. Preparation of sponsorship approaches.
Contracts: Preparation of contracts for cast and production team. Including ITC & TMA/Equity Agreements.
Venue Contracts Negotiation of venue agreements and deals,
Production Management: Organisation of set, LX and Sound costing, build and transport. Running production period. Recruitment, supervision & support of SM team and crew.
Company Management: Recruiting, contracting & supervision of Stage Management, Servicing Rehearsals, Scheduling, Co-ordinating Production work.
Tour Management: Venue liaison & contracting. Booking tour travel, transport & accommodation and distribution of information. Running Fit-Ups and Relights on tour. Including touring abroad. Tour LX Relights
Accounting: Maintenance of project or company accounts. Banking and reconciliation. Preparation of Project Accounts for funders. Annual Accounts & Returns. Vat Returns.
Payroll: Weekly wage runs & payments. NIC deductions and Returns. P45’s & End of Year P60 Returns. Payments of Subsistence and Allowances etc.
Publicity: Co-ordination of Poster/Leaflet design, print & distribution. Planning & co-ordination of digital campaigns. Preparation of outline marketing plans and strategy brief for marketing agent/manager. Organisation of programme content, design and print.
Health & Safety: NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Health & Safety consultancy. Health & Safety Policy. Risk Assessments. Safety planning & awareness.
TheatreAdmin is run by Chris Corner who has over 20 years’ experience of general and production management of over 100 theatre projects for a wide variety of companies, including dance and music theatre.
Chris has a commitment to new writing and development work, and understands the need for constant flexibility in the management of this type of work.
He has lots of experience of writing project grant applications to Arts Council England, many of which have been successful and has no fear of Grantium.
Chris normally operates from his own self contained office- ideal for project companies without an established office space but is happy to work in other office spaces if this was appropriate
Services are provided on a flexible fee basis depending on the amount of time required and the length of the project.
